S T U D I E S  &  S K E T C H E S

This is a compilation of studies and quick sketches from Tammy's sketchbook and loose papers. They depict her growth in balancing thin lines that are juxtaposed to heavier weighted marks, to add contrast and emphasis as well as depth and perspective. Additionally, there are watercolor studies that she has done as explorations of color.  The last few drawings are the beginnings of concept works- some of which have been fully rendered into finished pieces (see "drawing & painting" page of this site) and others that are still works in progress.
